Design process
If required we can offer 2D and 3D CAD* drawings and a 3D virtual walk-through of all our garden designs which are produced by our in house architect. This is not included in our free quotation service but is available on request.
CAD drawings are an effective way to explore all aspects and possibilities within a landscape project, therefore giving the client an opportunity to foresee the finished result.
3D virtual walk-through offer the same vision as the CAD drawings however are more in depth. These will allow clients to view the planned project from different perspectives throughout the layout. The walk-through can also offer sun trajectory so the design process is completed to ensure the sun movements and sun light phases in your landscape are fully utilised.
The above process entails:
- an initial consultation followed by a returned visit to discuss the project in more depth. We will discuss your landscape vision and you can gain inspiration from our portfolio and product brochures
- a full garden survey is undertaken
- depending on the service you require, your landscape design will be put together.
- a design presentation meeting is arranged
- a fully comprehensive quote accompanies the design
- we can adjust the design with your input if you require

Combined drawing and walk-through: £550
Clients that have used the design service are eligible to a £50 refund once contracts are signed and a date has been set for the project to start with TLH Landscapes & Excavations Ltd.
Clients individual landscape designs will be property of the client whether the job is undertaken or not, however they can be used in TLH Landscapes & Excavations Ltd's portfolio.
